Guest Speaker: Colleen Turner, Cruise Holidays
Sometimes there comes a point in a person’s life when you want to try to have it all. That point came for Colleen Turner in June 2007 when she decided to buy a cruise travel agency and become part of the Cruise Holidays family.
After 20 years in the corporate world of sales and marketing, she asked herself, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could travel as part of my work and turn people on to the spice of life in a difficult culture?” Since that momentous day in June 2007, she has helped hundreds of clients plan the cruise vacation of their dreams.
Her area of expertise is culturally rich cruising experiences on small ships and river cruises. On these destination-oriented cruises which often overnight in ports of call, guests are able to explore the bustling cities and charming villages and get a feeling for the rhythms of day-to-day life.
Although English is by far her best language, Colleen can carry on a spirited conversation in Portuguese and French after a couple of glasses of wine. She is a licensed private pilot with an instrument rating, has a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

 Guest Speaker Sunny Kobe Cook founded Sleep Country USA in 1991. She served both as CEO and company spokesperson in both radio and TV ads for many years. During that time, she was named Inc. Magazine's Northwest Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and she was featured on the cover of Washington CEO magazine when her company was the first retailer to ever be recognized as "Best Place to Work."
